The Lunar Eclipse of 10 December 2011

This is the astrological chart of today’s eclipse.

There is a lot going on in the chart. Of special note is the fact that Uranus has just now turned direct. Can you feel the electricity in the air?

There has been so much doom and gloom in regard to this Mercury Rx and these eclipses. I’m going to try something different.

ALL eclipses intensify energy. So whatever is happening in your life will feel much bigger. It is easy to become overwhelmed in the face of Bigness. This is a significant turning point in your life, in the world and the end of a cycle started roughly two weeks ago at the new moon. Looking at this chart as a mandala, what pops into my head is this:

You can make your dreams come true. What DO you want to be when you grow up? Focus on what you want your future, your life, your world to be. However, don’t get sucked into the ‘if I want it enough, it will come’ frame of mind. That way leads to disappointment and heartbreak. There is a lot of earth in this chart. The fulfillment of our dreams, wishes, goals, wants require hard work, practical thinking, concrete planning. During the retrograde mercury you have had a chance to reflect, reassess, recharge and rethink. In a few days mercury will move into it’s shadow phase. I recommend spending some time making concrete, realistic plans. Be practical but not critical. Lists may be helpful.

An excellent blog post regarding the current eclipse cycle.

Lunar Eclipse June 15th, 2011 On June, 15th 2011, at 20:13UT, there will be a total lunar eclipse. At this time the Moon will be in 24* 23′ Sagittarius, exactly opposite the Sun in 24*23’ Gemini as the chart below, cast for London, shows: One can immediately recognise that the Moon is conjunct the Ascendant, which makes this a significant eclipse for London and with it for the whole of the United Kingdom. The map below shows the eclipse’s line of angularity:    (click on the … Read More
